We are a direct manufacturer of eco-friendly packaging. Thanks to over 40 years of experience, we provide a brand that satisfies even the most demanding clients out there. From the very beginning of our company, we strive to use eco-friendly raw material to take care of our planet's future.
More than 40 Years of Experience !
The story goes back to 1979 when Katra Press started as a family business. The company was specialized in the production of Luxury shopping bags and carton packaging.
With the market trends changing towards eco-friendly products, and the consumers preference shifting to more versatile and economical packaging solutions, UNIBAG was established in 2001, with a field of specialty focusing on paper shopping bag.
UNIBAG trendy carrier bags quickly became the favorite choice for clients with high quantities needs and cost-effective budget. A long-standing industrial experience combined with valuable human and technical capital lead us to expand our customer base to cover Middle East, North Africa and the CIS regions. Our product portfolio currently comprises many local and international brand names.
In 2012, and in order to meet with our customer’s growing request for a full range of packaging solutions, the food line packaging was launched to cover all F&B packaging needs
A Tale of Success !
To support this expansion in our product lines, the factory was transferred to a new 5,000 sqm premises in 2014, with a 2,000 spm of warehousing facility, thus enhancing our storage capacity and logistic services to even higher standards.
Beside paper bags production, Unibag launched in 2018 a new product line “Pcup” for paper cups. The factory was concerned to endorse Lebanese production, to protect consumers and to offer them the best service and quality.
In order to value the product and provide confidence to customers, and simultaneously with the launching of Pcup, Unibag applied through SAI Global for the implementation of the ISO 22000:2005 (Food Safety Management System) and was certified in January 2019 to operate a Food Safety Management System which complies with the requirements of ISO 22000:2005 incorporating the principles of HACCP SAI Global.
In 2020, we started the year with a new addition and are pleased to announce the launching of the new company UNIBAGMENA DMCC in Dubai to better serve our UAE and international clientele.
With continuous development and better services, our motto has always been to continuously strive to maintain high technical and services standards up-to-date with the latest innovations and best practices in the industry.
